How Qrela handles information.

This policy describes the information Qrela processes to provide QR code management, hosted experiences, account access, and scan reporting. Effective date: 16 August 2026.

1. Information Qrela processes

When an author uses Qrela, we process account details such as name and email address, authentication information, QR code content and destinations, selected settings, and support or billing-related information where applicable. Authors should avoid placing sensitive personal information in QR code content unless they have an appropriate lawful basis and safeguards.

2. Scan-related information

When someone opens a Qrela QR link, Qrela may record the QR code, scan time, IP address, user-agent, language, referrer, device category, operating system, browser, and a derived visitor hash used to calculate unique scan activity. This information supports QR delivery, service security, and scan reporting for the relevant author.

3. How information is used

WISERBIT DOT COM uses information to operate and secure Qrela, provide account and QR functionality, create scan reports, process transactions where applicable, respond to support requests, meet legal obligations, and improve the service. WISERBIT DOT COM does not sell personal information.

4. Sharing, retention, and safeguards

WISERBIT DOT COM shares personal information only where necessary to operate Qrela, provide requested services, process payments, comply with law, protect rights and security, or with your direction. This may include service providers such as PayPal for payment processing and cloud or infrastructure providers that help operate Qrela. Payment card and payment-account details are handled by PayPal under its own privacy policy; Qrela does not store complete payment-card details. WISERBIT DOT COM retains information for as long as necessary to provide Qrela, maintain security, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
